How Roots and Wings works in your school
The school stays in control at every step. There are no student accounts to create, and no report reaches a family before the counsellor has seen it.
How does a school run Roots and Wings?
The school books Roots and Wings for its classes and receives access codes for each group. Students sign in with the code on any phone or computer, answer in their language, and the counsellor reviews each report before the school releases it to families.
Do students need to create accounts?
No. Students use an access code given by the school, so there are no individual accounts to set up.
Who sees the report first?
The school’s counsellor, teacher or coordinator reads each report first. The school decides when students and parents receive it.
What does the school receive?
The school sees live progress, can prepare whole classes in bulk, and receives an anonymised summary for each grade that shows what students need, without identifying any child. Reports carry the school’s name and logo.
